Wood Buffalo age-friendly needs assessment

How Does Your Organization Affect and Provide Services for Seniors’ and Elders?

The RMWB Advisory Committee on Aging (ACoA) is undertaking an assessment of age-friendliness.

An age-friendly Wood Buffalo will encourage better health, participation and security for elders and seniors. The assessment will identify gaps and opportunities for improving

the age-friendliness of eight areas of community life:

  • Outdoor Spaces/Buildings
  • Transportation
  • Housing
  • Social Participation
  • Respect and Social Inclusion
  • Civic Participation and Employment
  • Communications and Information
  • Community Support and Health Services
