The National Indigenous Peoples Day is a day recognizing and celebrating the cultures and contributions of the First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in Canada. In line with embracing multiculturalism and diversity, we hope to have traditional activities of the Indigenous Peoples residing in the RMWB. Activities will include, Indigenous elder speakers, presentation on Indigenous culture, traditional dancers and drummers. This event will be open to the public and we will be inviting schools to bring their students to this event. The National Indigenous Peoples Day has been traditionally one of the most well attended events in RMWB area.
